Choosing the right driver and fairway wood can be difficult if you don’t know how big the club head size is supposed to be. Here are a few tips. When you are choosing a wood there are three different club head sizes to choose from.

The standard club head size measures approximately 150-155 cubic centimeters. This size has a smaller sweet spot but will give you better control. The mid size size measures around 195 cubic centimeters and offers a few benefits. This will give you a medium sized sweet spot and the club is also much lighter than the oversized club head.

The oversized club head is the biggest you can choose from. The club head can be found at sizes up to 300+ cubic centimeters. This adds for a very large sweet spot with any of the head sizes. This is much more difficult for you to control and is heavier than the other two variations.

The club head comes in two materials. These materials can only make a difference with the way they feel and the way they look. These materials are stainless steel and titanium. They also differ in price significantly.

Stainless steel is much less expensive and heavier than titanium. The look of a stainless steel club is more traditional and feels that way too. The head is smaller because of the heavy weight.

The titanium is much lighter and allows for the club to have a larger club head. There is a larger sweet spot and the club proves to be much more forgiving than the traditional stainless steel models.

The loft of a club face head makes a big difference in the distance you might hit the ball. You need to know how to choose the loft of your club if you want to add more distance.

Loft is the measurement of the angle of the club face head. The greater the loft measurement is the greater the angle will be on the face of the club head. This will allow for more control of the ball but less distance in your shot. The less loft on the club face the greater the distance. The more distance you have, the less control you will have over the ball.

Your swing will also make a difference with the type of loft you need with your clubs. If you have a slow swing you want the highest loft. This means you will look for clubs with a 10.5 to 12 degree loft.

If you are an average golfer with an average swing then you need to find a loft of 9.5 to 10.5. The professionals have the fastest swings and they will have the lowest loft at around 8 to 9.5. If you are swinging over 90 mph you might want this loft too.

For those new to golf, it can seem ridiculous to need 14 different clubs just to smack a ball enough times to get it to the end of the course. However, as you play the game more and more you will begin to see that all of the different types of golf clubs will almost certainly come in handy quite often.

Here I will outline some of the most important key things that you need to understand about golf clubs. After you understand these,
you can start to perfect you own ability to choose the best club to use at any point in the game. This, along with a powerful and accurate swing, is how you can begin to win more and more games.

The first type of golf club is a wood. To the contrary of what the name suggests, the heads are not made out of wood. Usually woods are made out of hollow metal, usually steel or titanium. They are
designed to allow for the greatest distance with each stroke. Out of the 14 clubs in a standard set, the woods make up less than half.

They are usually used on the long and straight portions of the golf course, since they allow for the greatest distance with semi-decent accuracy. The accuracy is certainly not the strong point of the woods, and usually it takes plenty of practice to be able to keep
the ball on a straight course. Woods are also the longest clubs in the set.

Irons come next, and they are used most frequently throughout the game. They are very versatile compared to the other two types of clubs, and therefore make up a larger amount of the clubs in your bag.
They can still achieve fairly large distances, though not quite as far as the woods can.

Depending on which particular iron you use, you can have a much higher level of accuracy and get the ball a lot closer to where you want it to be. There are many different kinds of irons that have very specific uses, such as those that are meant to get you out of the sand traps or pop the ball up over an obstacle.

The final type of golf club is the putter, and a standard golf bag usually only contains one of these. These are used on the putting green at the end of the course, or in other parts of the course that
require delicate accuracy. They are meant to be the clubs with the shortest distance and the highest accuracy, usually only going a few yards to the target.

Balls hit with putters are not meant to fly up in the air. Rather, they are just pushed lightly along the ground where they will roll gently to the target. Putting is arguably the most important part of the game, so it is a good idea to get a nice putter and practice a bunch with it.

These 3 types of clubs are the basis for the game of golf. When you begin to start recognizing when you should use a wood or an iron, that is when you are beginning to get a hang for the game. Until then, you will just have to practice all you can with the golf clubs that you have.

However, as is more and more you’ll start seeing all the different types of golf clubs will almost certainly come in handy very often. Here I describe some of the most important key you need to understand about golf clubs. Once you understand this, you can begin to perfect is the ability to choose the best team to use at any point during the game. This, together with a powerful and accurate swing, is how you can start winning more games and more.

The first type of golf club is a forest. Unlike what the name suggests, the heads are not made of wood. Wood are usually made of hollow metal, usually steel or titanium. They are designed for maximum distance with every swing. Of the 14 clubs in a standard package, the wood is less than half. They are generally used for long straight portions of the golf course because they allow the greatest distance with semi-decent accuracy. Accuracy is not the strong point of the forest, and usually takes much practice to be able to keep the ball on a straight road. Forests are also the oldest club together.

Irons come next, and are used more frequently during the game. Are very versatile than the other two types of clubs, and then bring a larger amount of clubs in your bag. Can still achieve fairly large

distances, but not with regard to the wood can. Depending on which particular iron you use, you can have a much greater level of accuracy and get the ball much closer to where you want. There are many types of irons that have very specific uses, such as those designed to get out of sand traps or pop the ball over the obstacle.

The last type of club is the putter and a golf bag with the standards usually contains only one of them. Are used for the green at the end of the course, or in other parts of the course that require delicate accuracy. That is supposed to be the club with the shorter and higher accuracy, usually ranging from a few meters from the target. Balls hit with putters are not meant to fly in the air. Rather, they are only slightly pushed to the ground, where you pull gently toward the target. Putting is probably the most important part of the game, so it’s a good idea to get a nice putter and practice, a group with him.

These 3 types of clubs are the basis for the game of golf. When you begin to start recognizing when you should use a wood or iron, that when you start to have a block party. Until then, you’ll just have to practice all that is possible with the golf clubs you have.

The right golf equipment can make a real difference in how well you strike the ball. Because you are just learning the game, so what you need are clubs that are more forgiving when you make bad shots and all those bad shots will come. The beginning golfer should be looking for clubs that are more forgiving when the ball is hit off center. Perimeter-weighted clubs place the most weight of the club around the edges, which prevents the club head from turning with a poorly hit shot.

If you want something that makes it very easy to get the ball in the air, you should look for irons that are weighted more unique. Sole weighting lowers the center of gravity, putting the weight of the ball, help them succeed in the air faster.

Titanium is stronger, denser and lighter than steel, so the club head can be extended with the same amount of material. A larger head is the size of the spot area will be greater. Off-center hits will make you lose the distance, a spot that larger will be more forgiving.

Some headers have an “offset” design to protect your shots spinning from left to right and to give a straight level flight ball. The offset, the face is slightly behind the hostel of the head. This gives you a split second extra swing for the face back to square position.

For the driver, the larger head will be more forgiving. They all will be the largest area, producing the largest sweet pot. This is very important because a beginner does not always touch the ball in the middle of the clubface. (Studies have shown that you lose 10 yards for each 1 / 8 “inch you miss the sweet spot!)

For fairway woods, the woods of low-profile make it easy to get the air ball, because the weight is usually below the center of the sphere.

Graphite shafts are more forgiving shafts on hard times hit. They absorb the vibrations, allowing a feeling a lot better. Graphite shafts are lighter, so that will have a swing speed that gives you more distance. For this reason, graphite shafts are the most popular compared to steel shaft in the metal wood, when the distance is your main goal.

Steel shafts do not feel as soft, and are heavier, but are more accurate than graphite. For this reason they are generally better for irons, because you’re less concerned about the distance and more concerned with accuracy, since it is hitting the green and the pin.
