Gene Sarazen was the first golfer to become a member of the Wilson Advisory Staff and would have a 75-year relationship with the company, the longest-running contract in sports history. His career would earn him 39 PGA titles including two U.S. Opens, three PGA Championships, a British Open title, and a Masters victory on his way into the PGA Hall of Fame in 1974. Many golfers do not pay much attention to their golf shoes.  After all, are just the shoes, eh?  No, this is false. First, take your time when shopping for golf shoes.  Put them on their standing and to ensure that being in good standing and you can move without stress or discomfort.

The feet do not dilate, so when you go to shop for golf shoes, do so after having walked for about 20 minutes.  For this reason it is best to store golf shoes – or shoes, for that matter – in the afternoon rather than morning. When you shop for golf shoes you should wear the style of shoes you usually wear on the golf course.  In this way, you know that you’re comfortable on the golf course, while wearing golf shoes and not have to worry about discomfort during your backswing.
